How to use the target
- ISO Cleanliness Code represents particulate contamination targets at 4 μm(c), 6 μm(c) and 14 μm(c).
- Target Dryness is the maximum recommended water contamination target in ppm.
- Use laboratory oil analysis or an inline particle counter to compare actual results to the target.
- If the asset is critical, safety-sensitive, expensive to repair or hard to monitor, the tool automatically recommends a cleaner and drier target.
